Job summary Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Community Operations team is looking for a Learning Experience Designer to develop world-class learning solutions for our customers worldwide as part of the Learning and Development Team. In this role you will be responsible for the design and deployment of core leadership training for teams in North America and Europe. Your design toolbox includes eLearning, self-directed, and virtual learning methods focused on delivering real performance outcomes. You will ensure that our programs create an exceptional learning experience that produces expected business outcomes. You will transform our programs through technology, so we can easily scale to meet our learners’ needs worldwide. You will champion the learners’ voice to shape how they learn and develop their skills. Successful candidates will have relevant experience in managing multiple projects and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced, startup environment. Key job responsibilities Candidates should have experience working autonomously across multiple global locations, expertise in developing and maintaining strong business relationships, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts across different fields of expertise, and implementing learning project plans. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment and develop innovative solutions. A day in the life Key job functions include: •Partner with business stakeholders to understand business and program goals and define a learning solution that will make their programs successful •Create performance-focused training content that engages our learners, and is aligned with the identified required business impact •Create outstanding learning tools, performance support aids, assessments, eLearning, virtual facilitator-led training, and other materials to meet identified needs •Design learning solutions with business impact measurement in mind. •Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed •Manage projects amidst ambiguity, competing priorities, and challenging deadlines • Partner with Program Managers, Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional teams to build out development experiences with a global mindset
· Master’s degree or MBA in a relevant field such as business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, or instructional design · Formal training or education in adult learning and/or instructional design · Global work experience · Aptitude for learning and using technology for both learning design and data analysis · Innovative and proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment.
