Main Purpose of Job:
To perform and complete daily operational tasks to meet and exceed customer expectations, in compliance with all relevant regulations and the targets of the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily preparation and route completion of Transport Coordinator staff, to ensure collections and deliveries are made promptly.

- Support alongside the Supervisor in training all Transport Coordinator staff and ensure all training records are up to date.

- Work directly with Logistic Supervisor and/or Operations Manager daily on shipments to coordinate transport activities.

- Aid the Supervisor and/or Operations Manager in managing the Transport Coordinator on the job performance to ensure strategic and personal objectives are met.

- Liaise with the Supervisor in managing all vehicle maintenance records while ensuring regularly scheduled vehicle maintenance programs are in place and adhered to.

- Assist in verifying and signing off on both Vehicle Cleaning and Warehouse Cleaning logbooks weekly.

- Assist the leadership team in verifying Biocair’s Driver Manifest system is up to date along with scheduling collections and deliveries for Transport Coordinators.

- Help support the Supervisor with stock management including ordering new packaging stock, completing monthly stock-taking, and return of reusable stock where applicable.

- Act as a liaison between logistics and transport staff.

- Ensure application of all operational elements of the Business System when performing consignments e.g., standard operating procedures, packing procedures, and work instructions.

- Further, support the Management team in mitigating of Transport Coordinator’s hours and overtime.

- Participate in the implementation of improving service performance based on the corrective actions from root cause analysis.

- Adaptable individual with a “can do” attitude
- Able to handle a heavy and rapidly changing workload

Desirables for this position are as follows:
- Transport, courier, or freight forwarding experience
- Ability to work with management, employees, and customers effectively
- Direct Transport Coordinator service experience

Able to work both as part of a small team and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision or guidance.
A high level of attention to detail in all aspects of their work.
Able to communicate, clearly and concisely, with clients, suppliers, and colleagues both within the USA and overseas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,320.00 per year
