Lead Technologist

Location: Overland Park Clinic

Hours: 7-4p or 8-5p and 8-12 every other Saturday

FT position 36-40 hours per week. 4 days per week: M,T, Th, F

We are currently looking for an experienced Lead Technologist to play an active role in leading our team of technologists and front desk staff at our Overland Park clinic. Responsibilities include daily staffing and management of daily operations such as supplies and patient flow.

Under the direction of the Radiologist and Clinic Operations Director, performs imaging according to the standard DIC protocols(s) outlined for each procedure. Explains the procedure to patients, assures patients’ safety, reviews images to confirm that they meet requirements of radiologist, and accurately process exams in both RIS and PACS. Acts as the site supervisor; handles patient issues and/or any staff concerns as the first level of escalation, should they arise.

Required

• Must have ARRT registration
• Mammography registered
• KS License
• Must be a team player with strong patient care skills
• Knowledge base and experience that will allow the selected candidate to do x-ray, fluoroscopy, and mammography.
• Must have strong knowledge of his/her primary assigned modality
• Flexibility to work in other clinics on occasion
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding customer service, patient care, and teamwork
• Accurate and detail-oriented
