Highly trained teachers lead each child to reach developmental milestones, preparing the children for social and academic success.

Our client is looking for fun and energetic full-time Lead Teachers for their premier preschools in Gurnee and Grayslake.

Job Responsibilities:

• Adapt and implement school-approved lesson plans to meet the overall growth, interests, and learning styles of the children.
• Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms.
• Provide basic needs for children.
• Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
• Manage classroom activities including lessons, play, breaks and meals.
• Track children's progress and report to parents.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom.
• Help children reach developmental milestones.
• Encourage children to interact with each other to develop social skills.
• Provide appropriate supervision for children at all times.
• Maintain inventory system for classroom materials and supplies.
• Facilitate various activities through a variety of mediums for children.
• Adhere to health/safety and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's in ECE OR in a related field with 32 semester hours in ECE
• At least 6 months of teaching experience in a preschool setting.
• A desire to grow professionally.
• Meet background check eligibility.
• Must meet all state-specific requirements for the position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
