All-State Belting, LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Conveyor Belt Splicer for our Rock Hill, SC location. A Lead Conveyor Belt Splicer is responsible for the installation and repair of conveyor belts and conveyor systems, including basic mechanical maintenance. This will involve work in the branch workshop and a significant proportion of time out at customer sites.

What can you expect as a Lead Service Technician at All-State Belting? You are responsible for the repair of conveyor belts, including basic mechanical maintenance.

Duties of the Lead Service Technician include:

• Responding to assigned customer orders to install conveyor belts or repair as needed.
• Ensure conveyor belts or systems are working effectively per customer orders and instructions.
• Install conveyor belts using rigging gear, winches or cranes as required to fit and assemble system components.
• Certify that jobs are completed within order times.
• Loads, delivers, installs, and specs equipment.
• Completes all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports, purchase card, and equipment related items).
• Properly identify basic conveyor system components and troubleshoot to perform basic splices, belt cleaning and pulley lagging.
• Serves as a technical contact for assistance with the training and ongoing technical support for other technicians and administrative staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications: *

• Must have a valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined to read work orders, use tools and equipment.
• Basic rigging, lifting, and slinging
• Technical training in related technical field is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience as a conveyor belt technician
• Strong teamwork skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety issues
• Able to lift and load equipment into vehicle and unload at repair sites.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Mechanical skills are helpful.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20-$35/hr., pay commensurate with experience
