Southern Shade Tree Co is a full-service commercial landscaping company with over 50 years of experience exceeding client's expectations in the Carolinas.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with clean history (5 years' driving experience with no more than 3 tickets/incidents).
• Landscape experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Experience with landscaping equipment, such as zero-turn mowers, walk-behinds, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, etc. preferred - or willingness to learn!
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Ability to work outside in the elements continually exposed to heat, cold, humidity, pollen, etc.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for safely driving crews to/from job sites and assisting with landscape duties.
• Responsible for performing general landscaping tasks such as plant installation, proper pruning, weeding, watering, mowing, edging, mulching, etc.
• Ability to use power tools and equipment such as weed eaters, mowers, blowers, and sprayers
• Must be able to assume responsibility for following all procedures and guidelines related to safety, safe operation of equipment, and equipment maintenance tasks
• Follow specified procedures in performing single or multi-task assignments. Daily assignments are received verbally and/or in writing from the supervisor.
• Landscapers should have a friendly, polite, service-oriented demeanor and interact with the public when appropriate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
