Landscape Designer
TNP has an immediate opening for a Landscape Designer or to join an established landscape architecture team. The team is currently engaged in a variety of public and private sector projects involving parks, trails, streetscapes, sports & recreational facilities, schools, hospitals, residential subdivisions and other site development projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable design and project experience, as well as development project management skills.
Position Requirements:
At a minimum, candidates must meet the following educational, professional and personal requirements:
Education
- Bachelor s Degree or Master s degree in Landscape Architecture
Professional
- 0-5 years of experience working on landscape architecture projects.
- Licensed Irrigator in Texas (preferred)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, SketchUp, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- LandFX experience (preferred)
- Lumion experience (preferred)
- Competent hand graphics skills.
- Committed to professional development

- Ability to manage and schedule work to meet objectives & deadlines

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- The planning and design of parks, trails, streetscapes, sports and recreational facilities
- The planning and design of landscape, irrigation, and hardscape improvements for schools, hospitals, residential subdivisions and other site development projects using AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Lumion.
- Coordinate with and direct designers. Support and collaborate with other landscape architects and senior staff.
- Organizing and scheduling work to accomplish goals on projects within established budgets and timelines.
- Learning project management in accordance with TNP standards and guidelines.
- Coordination with other disciplines and design teams.
- Construction administration
Compensation/Benefits:
Compensation includes competitive base salary, overtime or supplemental pay for additional hours worked, and year-end performance-based bonus opportunities.
