Landscape Architect Designer – Glastonbury, CT

We have a unique career opportunity for an entry-level Landscape Architect to join our growing Landscape Architecture practice in Glastonbury, CT. Our clients include public and private development community leaders introducing signature projects throughout Connecticut. Our projects include a mix of K-12 and higher education school design, feasibility studies, residential development, mixed-use development, parks, and athletic fields. The successful candidate will play a key role in the growth of our Glastonbury office.

What You Will Need:

• Positive personality and willingness to learn and ask questions
• Strong design, graphic, writing, and communication skills
• Experience researching and interpreting zoning and development codes
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCad, and Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suites
• Experience with local plant and hardscape materials
• 3D rendering skills and experience
• Excellent communication and client relation skills
• Bachelor’s Degree In Landscape Architecture

The Impact You Will Have:

• Provide Landscape Architecture support ranging from initial concept design through design development and final contract documents
• Provide mapping and graphic support for the Landscape Architecture practice
• Work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager
