Job description

It is the responsibility of the lamination and coater operator to effectively produce film and coating projects in a timely and productive manner while exceeding client expectation. Review job ticket specifications to determine exact needs for the job at hand and next operation in the production sequence. Set up respective equipment as needed to deliver a quality product in the most productive manner. Examine / quality control inspect coated material for any imperfections and adjust as needed. Record job information on load tags and time sheets; enter data collection as needed. Maintain the equipment per OEM and company specifications. Display and support of high standards in productivity and quality of work. Maintain defined inventory levels of all consumables and materials.

Minimum of 3 years’ operating film laminator, UV coater, offset presses, or related equipment. Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions (English), Job Jackets, material type specification and ruled-up sheets. Perform basic mathematical calculations, especially for paper feed and roller settings. Physically capable of lifting up to 40lbs (Back braces provided upon request).

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
