Rockwood Retirement Communities is hiring a Kitchen Support Staff for our Rockwood at Whitworth Campus.

Pay Range: $16.25 - $17.25 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate the industrial dishwasher
• Wash and put away dishes from all dining rooms, ensuring all items are clean and sanitary
• Deliver and retrieve food carts and other items
• Empty and clean all trash bins
• Follow sanitation policies at all times
• Provide assistance to dish staff as needed, especially during peak hours
• Perform opening, closing, and side work
• Check in and put away stock; ensuring all goods received are not damaged. First In, First Out (FIFO system)
• Weekly cleaning of all kitchen equipment
• Weekly cleaning of all hoods

Requirements:

• Obtain state required Food Handlers card
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Continuous bending, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
• Flexible schedule. Must be able to work accouple early mornings for cleanings. As well as availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must enjoy working with senior population
