Job description

We are a fun and fast paced restaurant and have an open role for a cook. As part of our staff, you will be expected to cook as well as keep the restaurant clean and maintained. We pride ourselves on being able to handle a variety of dietary requests in a happy and friendly manner. You will greet guests as they enter. To do well in this role you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift. There is room for growth within our business.

· Prep and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes

· Adjust recipes as appropriate to meet guests nutritional requests

· Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent foodborne illness

· A knowledge of the menu.

· Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service.

· Work with your team to make sure the kitchen is ready for scheduled serving times and stays clean and maintained.

· Helping with other positions in the restaurant as needed.

· Providing great customer service.

· Consistent Attendance

Cook Requirements:

Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
Does high-quality work while unsupervised.
Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays and pans when necessary.
Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
Restaurant experience a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
