Job description
Reports to: Car Wash Manager and V.P. of Outside Operations
Functions: In charge of supporting day-to-day operations to maintain brand and location standards set by the Car Wash Manager and V.P. of Outside Operations.
Responsibilities and Authority:
- Learn customer kiosk software and be able to assist with any transaction or error to minimize workflow interruptions.
- Document and report and RFID tag malfunction through proper channels.
- Assist in implementing training and ensure all team members are performing assigned duties.
- Handle and report any customer complaints brought to your attention.
- Assist in managing damage claims.
- Assist in managing employee’s schedules and ensure all shifts are covered.
- Monitor employee’s appearance and uniforms.
- Train employees on job responsibilities and customer service.
- Notify Car Wash Manager of any maintenance issues within the wash facility.
- Maintain appearance of property in and around the facility.
- Monitor wash quality on a regular basis.
- Be a leader in keeping customer satisfaction high through consistent maintenance of standards and appearance.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by Management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or the equivalent. Able to read and comprehend instructions and information. Computer knowledge preferred. Results driven, self-motivated behavior, and courteous people skills required. Technical & Mechanical Capacity, ability to problem solve challenges and shift priorities quickly. Professional personal appearance. At least one (1) year of managerial experience preferred. Excellent communication skills. Valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. occasionally.
Working Conditions:
This is a position that will expose employee to outdoor elements year-round. Will work in an office setting at a desk as necessary. Will prepare and manage paperwork. Employee will stand, stoop, kneel, lift, push, pull, crouch and reach repeatedly during the shift. Employee will have personal interactions with customers. Employee will be exposed to heat, cold, noise, dust, fumes, hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
