JOB SUMMARY

Our team provides support to a client that is using an Okta IAM solution. There currently are legacy applications that use a variety of mechanisms for authentication and authorization. There are also APIs that must be managed and maintained to facilitate communications between Okta and applications/systems. There are new applications being developed, and there will continue to be a combination of on premises applications and cloud applications as the client moves more to the cloud.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Provide support for the API Gateway especially with regards to interfaces between the Okta IDaaS and applications and systems.
• Utilize understanding of how security impacts the APIs to support a future zero trust architecture state.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Experience with Okta components and tenant configuration is very desirable
• Experience with Microsoft Directory Integrations (Active Directory/AD Agent)
• AD Agent configuration and deployment
• Reports, System logs and monitoring
• Knowledge of Okta management APIs is a plus
• System administration background
• Experience with windows and linux systems hosting tomcat and other web technologies
• Understanding of application deployment processes
• Ability to troubleshoot issues through logs analysis
• JAVA based applications
• Operation systems logs and events
• Scripts/Automation processes
• SAML
• OIDC (Scope, Claims, Access policies)
• Reverse Proxy
• Experience with SIEM and Logs management tools (Splunk, QRadar, Okta reporting…), ability to execute queries to retrieve logs and analyze them for issues resolution

It is desirable that the candidate has the following qualifications:

• Excellent communications, presentation, and documentation skills
• Ability to work within the team and independently on tasks. Attention to details is a must for critical enterprise system.
• Understanding of communications protocols and encryption requirements for government systems for moderate classification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
