ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for our Jr. Construction Project Manager - United States Expansion who has responsibilities to manage relationships with key stakeholders, create benchmarks for success with deliverables, including managing budgets, and planned work assignments that meet all deadlines. The business objective - to construct and operate 50+ clinics by the end of 2023.
HOW YOU’LL HAVE AN IMPACT:

  • Lead and manage flagships construction projects in the United States of America. Own and drive each project from coordination of design, tender process, through construction to opening and site handover.
  • Managing workload of the teams involved in the design and constructions on regional level.
  • Ensuring the alignment with expansion forecast of new flagships openings and operational objectives and goals.
  • Will also be required to review and approve all CAPEX budgets before being presented to the senior management for approval to proceed.
  • Cost and budget management as well as approving additional spends when needed.
  • Will be expected to engage and align with the regional team managers (country manager, medical directors, etc) to mitigate all escalations, communicate regional needs, and ensure alignment.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management in the country.
  • Escalation of any matters when needed while ensuring projects are managed either with a focus on design and/or construction management.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of the clinic and remodeling for any specific reason (new policies, improvements, strategic decisions).

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Educational background in Architectural Design or Engineering, alternatively relevant work experience.
  • Strong technical understanding to allow engagement with contractors and development teams. Ability to understand design drawings in detail including knowledge and experience of coordinating architecture and engineering disciplines (consultants, 3rd party providers and local teams).
  • Relevant healthcare or retail construction experience working with local building code, zoning, and other applicable laws.
  • Understanding of project scheduling and the ability to communicate and work closely with consultants to ensure that project milestones are being met on time and complete.
  • Demonstrate experience of owning multiple projects and a proven track record of delivering against predeterminate requirements in a timely manner. Excellent prioritization skills.
  • Identify, call out and make recommendations to mitigate any risks/challenges at all stages of the project.
  • You are a real team leader and speak fluent/professional English. Any other languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the USA extensively.
