The ARC of Rensselaer County is looking for an Accounting Assistant. The Accounting Assistant will perform a wide variety of accounting duties:
Monthly reconciliation of bank and general ledger accounts

Prepare monthly General Ledger Entries

Assist members of the team in processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Assist with review of expenses and revenue.

Assist Directors in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings and financial reporting.

Assisting the Family and Community Supports Resource Assistant in processing benefit renewal
Office back up for phones, cash receipts and banking requests

This position offers strong growth potential in a thriving, non-profit organization. The ARC has a strong finance team that can help mentor the right candidate.
Education/ Experience- Three years of bookkeeping experience or AAS degree in accounting.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
