  Evening Janitorial Area Supervisor ~ Pittsburgh East and Surrounding Areas
• 5-7 hours per evening
• 5:00/6:00pm start
• Monday – Friday
• $15.00-$17.00 per hour PLUS Benefits

We are looking to hire an Area Janitorial Supervisor to supervise the work performed by our janitorial staff. The Area Supervisor's responsibilities include traveling between accounts to monitor employees work, training and retraining employees as needed, covering or managing staff in instances of staff shortages in and around the Pittsburgh East Area.

Responsibilities:

• Assign work tasks and regularly inspect to ensure timely and quality completion.
• Adjust work tasks as goals change or are not being satisfactorily met.
• Promptly reply to client requests, ensuring resolve of issues.
• Ensure staff has proper supplies and that they are using them in an efficient and effective manner.
• Maintain positive employee relations through a coaching/motivating supervisory style.
• Providing training and guidance to janitorial staff.

Qualifications:

• Janitorial and/or Supervisory experience helpful.
• Attention to detail and reliability on completing tasks.
• Floor experience/knowledge/skill helpful but not necessary (use of buffer, scrubber, stripper and finisher)
• Must be Reliable
• Good communication skills with clients and employees.
• Reliable transportation and successfully pass a criminal background check.

• Minimum of 1 Years Experience in Janitorial PREFERRED but NOT mandatory.
• Other attributes such as work history are taken into consideration as well
• MUST pass background clearance
• MUST have reliable transportation
