Maintenance/Janitor
Shop Rite of Bristol is in search of Janitors to join our team.

This is a part-time position which 2 years experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train

The ideal candidate will:

• Have great attention to detail
• Be reliable and hard working
• Maintains and cleans all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Collect and dispose of paper and rubbish.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects
• Cleans, monitors and maintains restrooms, corridors, store entrance areas
• Empties trash receptacles for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Replenishes paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follows housekeeping schedule outlined by the immediate supervisor.
• Cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces directed by store management
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for associates and a safe. shopping environment for customers

We prefer 2 years of janitorial/maintenance experience.

Must be physically able to bend, stoop, climb and reach
Must be able to lift, move and use containers of water, cleaning fluids, and germicidal agents
Must be able to lift and use wet mop and other janitorial equipment
Work outdoors in all changing weather condition in geographical area
Standing and/or walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling
All other duties assigned by management
