Elite Contracting Group is looking for an (Intelligent Transportation System) ITS Technician in our Bealeton, VA location to join one of the fastest-growing full-service security and resiliency solution integration companies in Virginia. The ideal candidate will respond to service calls, troubleshooting electronic components, performing preventative and responsive maintenance, and interacting with customers. This is a technical position with 95% of the work performed will be outside on highways and roadways throughout Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work independently to complete assigned tasks within defined response times
• Troubleshoot and repairs electronic devices to board level
• Uses a multimeter, and other electronic measuring devices
• Mark utilities, perform general preventative maintenance tasks
• Reads schematics, and as-built drawings
• Operate a company vehicle safely
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Fiber optic troubleshooting a plus
• CCTV and security systems experience a plus
• Access control a plus
• Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength.
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds of material.
• Must be able to frequently walk, bend, kneel, reach and climb.
