The IT WMS Analyst will provide functional and technical support to users of the Company’s IT applications including Warehouse Management, E-Commerce Fulfillment, and Material Handling systems. Understands inventory, warehousing and supply chain domain, processes and procedures associated with implementing and maintaining the warehouse and supply chain systems. This role provides day to day support for operations. Works with internal and external customers on daily fulfillment operations. Serves as subject matter expert on the company’s technology infrastructure. Understands common business analysis tools and methodologies and is able to apply them to solve problems. A critical aspect of this role is to be able to perform support for the WMS application which includes after-hours support, incident support, customer data requests, know how to identify data errors and independently resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Provides IT and analytical support for daily operations, new business opportunities, and proposals

Supports WMS integration with third-party applications, including customer shopping carts and regional and national freight and shipping service providers.

Must be able to perform 24x7 support for the WMS application which includes after-hours support, incident support, and general troubleshooting.

Participates in the creation and maintenance of system documents, troubleshooting quick guides and operational training guides

Act as SME for WMS and responsible for WMS training for all employees, including, but not limited to, navigation through WMS screens and data processes

Gathers, interprets and maintains relevant data (customer info, inventory, demand patterns, etc.)

Develops performance reports and distributes them to IT stakeholders

Able to work as a team member with the operations staff

Facilitates the process of gathering and documenting user/project requirements based on meetings with operations for communicating requirements to IT development

Willing to periodically travel to customer headquarters

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent from four-year college preferred specifically in warehouse and logistics management or IT management.

3+ years related experience and/or training in Warehouse Management systems or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Prior experience using an ERP or MRP, or WMS is considered an asset

Applications: Experience with warehouse, picking, replenishment, and inventory management applications; OS: Windows; Database management, SQL; Other: knowledge of web service architecture, system integrations, functional knowledge of a programming language

Must have an excellent functional knowledge of Inventory systems and Material Handling as well as the fulfillment processes that are required

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to function in a fast-paced multifunctional environment where priorities change quickly

Must be able to perform support for the WMS application which includes after-hours support

Has proven supply chain experience and employ best practices in logistics

Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities

Ability to work in a professional manner, be flexible and handle interactions with all levels of the organization and with external clients

Demonstrated ability to communicate well with customers, other members of the team and with non-technical users
