Haley Ward is looking for an IT Technician on-site in our Bangor or Saco, Maine office, or the Leominster, or Maynard, Massachusetts office to assist with the support and maintenance of the networks, servers, operating systems, workstations and other peripherals for a multi-site 200+ employee network.

What you can expect to be doing:

• Provide technical support to users
• Troubleshoot network and hardware issues
• Install and configure new software and hardware components
• Monitor the network for potential threats
• Support, maintain & update audio visual equipment

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or associate degree and equivalent experience)
• Experience in a technical support role
• Familiarity with relevant computer software and hardware programs
• Experience working with various operating systems with a focus on Microsoft
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
• Must be flexible with work schedule. Individual may be requested to work evenings, weekends or out-of-state occasionally.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Will be required to be Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certified after being hired.
  • To verify identification, a state of residency and national fingerprint-based record checks shall be conducted within 30 days of assignment for all personnel who have direct access to CJI and those who have direct responsibility to configure and maintain computer systems and networks with direct access to CJI.

A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
