WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Target Salary Range ( $45,000-$55,000)

Sorrento Therapeutics Inc. is seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this position the Technical Support Specialist work with end-users to provide technical support and assistance for their software, hardware, and technical problems include network connectivity. Help end-users install software and provide training to software such as MS Office 365 Suite. Excellent customer service and positive attitude required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Provide technical support to all end-users
• Troubleshoot technological issues and solve problems quickly
• Install all new technology for the users, including computer operating systems, software programs and applications, desktops and laptops, and other computer hardware
• Assist System Administrator with onboarding and offboarding of end-users
• Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently
• Troubleshooting issues with Microsoft O365 mail systems. Securing O365 environment with appropriate configurations against spam and fishing emails
• Supporting office network with switches, Internet, routers/APs, Printers and other IT equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• An associate degree in computer science or related field.
• A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An openness to learning new technologies.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and experience with both hardware and software systems. Ability to work independently.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
