Salal Credit Union is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to collaborate with members of the Information Technology team in designing, configuring, and supporting our technology systems. The IT System Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining operating platforms, business applications, security tools, servers, laptops, and other network devices to ensure that all systems meet efficiency and security standards.

The ideal candidate for this role will have at least three years of relevant experience with patch management in a related IT position. We are looking for someone who gets excited about tackling new challenges every day and working on a variety of systems and projects. Experience with change management would be helpful for this role. This position will interface with multiple departments and should excel in building relationships to solve problems and uncover solutions.

This position may require after hours, weekend, or holiday shifts on occasion. While the position is primarily remote, there may be some in-office work required at our Seattle headquarters.

The target pay rate for this role is $75,000- 85,000 annually plus benefits, including:

What you'll do in this role:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of all technology systems used by Salal Credit Union and applicable business partners. This includes, but is not limited to, servers, workstations, computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Responsible for proactive management, support, and improvement of existing systems. Monitor performance and assist with routine troubleshooting of system issues. Work to identify, evaluate, and remediate known vulnerabilities
• Coordinate with outside vendors to provide a seamless experience for end-users and in anticipation of future needs
• Manage and follow patch management compliance for servers, applications, and workstations. Monitor patch requirements, as well as bugs and vulnerabilities received from the systems.
• Ensure the complete and reliable backup of system and organizational data. Adheres to information security guidelines and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation and procedures.

About you:

• At least 3 years of experience in a related IT position with patch management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft server environments, Active Directory, and some network administration.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications preferred.
• Previous success in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
