FBi Buildings, Inc., a leader in the Post-Frame Building Industry, is seeking an IT Support Specialist for the Remington, IN office.
JOB SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

First responder on the team responsible for the day‐to‐day operation of the of the organization’s computer systems including desktop, laptop and mobile operations.

Assist in installing, testing, upgrading and maintaining systems software and hardware. All configurations are consistent with organizational standards and are carried out in a timely manner.

Assist in maintaining our active directory users and computers data.

Support on-site users as well as remote locations (work from home, remote offices, remote job sites, etc.)

Develop and maintain complete documentation for systems supported or created.

Resolve cybersecurity events in a timely manner.

Whatever it takes to get the job done. “It’s not my job!” is not in my vocabulary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science. Concentration in a business-related field helpful. Experience with networking, virtual environments, cyber security threat resolution a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
70% sedentary, requiring manual dexterity to operate machines and handle documents, visual acuity to type and read. 30% lifting computer-related devices, printer paper boxes and supplies.
Organizational Relationship:
This position reports to the Director of ERP and must interact with all departments. This job is primarily on-site but can be partially remote once training is complete.
