Job description

As the IT Specialist, you will report to the IT Manager. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues for teammates. As part of the Internal IT team, you will provide technical support in a fully remote environment and help streamline processes as support needs evolve. You will assist with onboarding and offboarding of teammates and manage other tasks assigned by the IT manager.

This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities*

• Provide daily IT support to Mission teammates through phone, Slack, Zoom, and email
• Set up and train new team members on their company accounts and equipment
• Manage and triage tickets via internal ticketing system
• Procure laptops, monitors, and other computer accessories needed for Mission team member’s home offices; record serial numbers and asset tags for equipment tracking
• Manage SaaS cloud applications for Mission team, including Slack, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Servicenow, Mimecast, Okta, etc.
• Participate in onboarding of new teammates and contractors
• Offboard exiting team members from all applications; ensure secure equipment return
• Create and maintain documentation and guidelines for IT tools and applications
• Suggest process improvement based off metrics and analytics to provide the best experience for our teammates
• Participate in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience Help Desk or Desktop Support
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience setting priorities from a larger task list on a daily basis
• Experience managing cloud SaaS applications, preferably experience with Google Workspaces and Slack
• Technical expertise on macOS, Windows, iOS and Android operating systems
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (required after 1 year of employment)
