Position Summary: The Security Engineer plays a critical role in achieving Nothing Bundt Cakes’ annual and long-term growth plans. Reporting to the Director of IT Services the Security Engineer will have a focus on application, network, infrastructure and cloud security and controls. They will provide strategic technology planning, process reengineering, organizational assessments, and system selection to ensure our devices, applications, services, and systems are designed and implemented to a high standard and resilience to modern threats.
Accountabilities/Duties:

• Develop and ensure security roadmaps and security strategies are being delivered
• Company-wide cybersecurity assessments and training
• Lead penetration testing / vulnerability scanning
• Disaster recovery planning
• IT security policy development
• Security compliance auditing
• Respond to security events and notifications, including incident response
• Document and update security configurations
• Assist with compliance requirements
• Administer cybersecurity-related solutions using standardized procedures including but not limited to:
  • Endpoint Detection and Response
  • MFA and Conditional Access
  • DMARC policies
  • Provision and administer identity security systems within Microsoft 365
  • Endpoint manager within Microsoft 365
  • Administer security awareness training and testing programs
  • Administer patch management systems
