The IT/Product Support Tech will troubleshoot internal tech problems. They will resolve issues related to employee’s computers, phones, tablets, modems, internet, networks, software, and the like. This role will also have an outward facing role that helps with product support and RMA (return material authorization) Team to perform computer repair work for external customers.

• Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding computer, software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns.
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves users’ computer and tech related problems.
• Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
• Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
• Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions.
• Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
• Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
• Perform repair services for RMA products from customers.
• Debug and oversee the repair of production assemblies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in related field, preferred.
• 3 years’ related work experience on Helpdesk, IT, computer repair or similar function.
• Intermediate level computer skills.

Non-Exempt Salary Details: The annualized base salary range for this role is $37,440 to $49,920. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
