Job Qualifications include but not limited to:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 1-2 years in payroll industry experience with working knowledge of payroll systems.
- Payroll implementation experience desirable.
- American Payroll Association certification (FPC or CPP) preferred.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to focus on and comprehend numerical and financial data.
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet schedules; at times with unexpected deadlines while ensuring client’s payroll needs ae met.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
- Proficient in Windows PC environment with accurate data entry skills.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Maintain an assigned base of payroll clients; provide excellent customer service support, resolve client issues and concerns, and establish and maintain a positive working relationship.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the payroll and payroll tax rules and regulations.
- Provide training to new clients on Newtek software
- Accurately key all payroll related data necessary to process client payrolls.
- Ensure deadlines are met and payrolls and reports are produced accurately.
- Provide client training by explaining the various reports and products available.
- Serve as a single point of contact for the client and coordinate with other internal departments to fulfill client needs.
