This position will report directly to the Director of Application Development and will work as part of an application development team to analyze business needs and write programs to automate and report on business functions. Programmer will also be responsible for learning the complex business processes currently supported by the applications team, as well as new processes that must be developed.

• Analyze, debug, document and modify existing programs and objects of all types.
• Assist business and technical team members in planning, executing, documenting and user training for assigned projects
• Learning and understanding the business logic of existing programs.
• Understanding the structure of the existing libraries and source file members.
• Provide users assistance in resolving business issues Assist in developing knowledgebase for problem resolution
• A.S. degree in programming.
• RPGIII, RPGIV, Free Form RPG, CL, SDA, RDA and other iSeries development tools.
• Understanding of relational databases.
• RDI, Web development, WebSphere experience is a plus.
• Willingness and desire to learn.
• Candidate must possess strong analytical skills.
• Familiar with MS Office programs including Excel.
• Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) and people skills.
• Candidates from Tupelo, MS area are preferred.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop and reach for mechanical operations and storage.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Job duties may involve observing, documenting and implementing processes, equipment and/or technical changes in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
