KindPeoples is looking for an Inventory Control Manager (ICM)! The ICM works closely with the Retail team as well as the Operations team (when needed), this is a highly visible role. This leader is responsible for meeting inventory goals, guiding their team to achieve performance standards, and assists in the product management process (ensures products are compliant). Inventory Control Manager is responsible for but not limited to:
Scheduling & Management:
Inventory discrepancies and appropriate escalations
Staff scheduling duties
General audit reconciliations
Provide reporting metrics regarding loss rates, values, and mitigation efforts
Product Intake / Compliance
The IC Manager acts in coordination with the distribution and purchasing teams to assure the timely intake of products, in compliance with California State Laws.
Retail Sales Floor Restocking
The IC Manager assures that the retail sales floor is stocked consistently and effectively, including but not limited to new product launches and promotional sales event days.
Other Miscellaneous Duties, Roles, and Responsibilities
General organization of inventory vault and sales floor
High levels of communication with the retail sales team regarding day to day management of the Inventory Control functions
The ICM position requires a working understanding of computing, MS Office and POS inventory systems
There is a physical element, where inventory is constantly moving from one place to another, candidates should be comfortable on their feet for long periods of time
Back of the house is a fast-paced fun environment, but one where everyone works hard and diligently
Minimum Requirements:
Problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
Highly organized, possess strong computer skills, communicates efficiently, detailed oriented and can perform in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple deadlines / priorities
Experience handling high inventory volume in a retail environment
Management experience preferred
Ability to lift, usually up to 25 pounds, sometimes up to 50 pounds
Inventory Control Manager starts at $18.00/ hour
