Job Objective

The International logistics Analyst will be responsible to support G-III’s US & International import and export shipment processing. The analyst will assist the logistics department management in analyzing system and shipment details to address anomalies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process G-III Retail Direct US shipments for receiving and billing
• Monitor system transit details through exception reporting, work with divisional management on resolving systemic discrepancies
• Assign broker reference numbers in G-III ERP system for shipment visibility
• Process DDP shipments for distribution and account payable administration
• Provide assistance in resolving shipment issues for L/C shipments
• Manage international import shipments to overseas G-III Distribution Center locations
• Manage documentation and courier details for sample shipments
• Analyze freight costs and provide monthly reporting updates
• Analyze estimated shipment dates and provide direction to overseas on best planning methods

Job Requirements and Skills:

• Experience in the apparel or footwear industry
• Experience in the import or export logistics field
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and organize data
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment where change is the norm
• Must be able to set and meet aggressive deadlines; Must be a pro-active problem solver
• Strong follow-up skills necessary
• Proficient in Excel and Word applications
• Knowledge of AS400/ACS useful

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
