Cabot House Furniture and Design is a leading national high-end design / sales company with over 100 years of providing fashion forward home furnishings and design services. We are a multi-generation family-owned luxury retailer focused on the designer, trade & hospitality industries, as well as design-oriented consumers. We are seeking talented design/ sales assistant to join our dynamic organization.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications to be considered:

1-2 years’ experience in high-end residential design

Current knowledge of trends in interior design

Retail sales experience preferred

Strong graphic ability and proficiency in either Adobe Creative Suite, Indesign, Design Files, AutoCad

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to provide in-home consultations and client presentations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Associate degree preferably in Interior Design, Architecture or related field preferred
