Job Title: Integrations Software Engineer

Location: SFO,CA, or Omaha, Nebraska(client prefers 2 weeks on-site to start)

Essential Functions of the Position

• Build data connectivity and integrate with various partners; including healthcare insurance carriers and other HR/Payroll products via API or proprietary file formats.
• Implement user-facing and back-end features
• Partner with stakeholders on solutions that address company-level goals.
• Work to integrate, enhance, and scale the benefits management foundation.
• Assist in the development of proof of concept, SDKs, and documentation of new integrations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions with the ability to scale.
• Understand and adhere to SDLC best practices.
• Capable of quickly learning, debugging, fixing, and improving existing code
• Experience using a project management tool such as Atlassian tools

Experience, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Certifications

• 8+ years creating, testing, and documenting succinct, performant, and easily readable code in C#, .NET.
• Demonstrated experience or fluency in modern API technologies, RESTful design, and (de)serialization techniques.
• Experience and willingness to work with legacy data exchange methods (such as EDI, SOAP, Flat File, CSV, SFTP)
• A background in at least one relational database (PostgreSQL or MySQL preferred).
• Experience using AWS, Git, Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with the ANSI EDI 834 file format is considered a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to be an external-facing representative to our partners as needed.
• Have 8+ years of progressive experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications.
• A demonstrated ability to create reliable and scalable React components.
• A proven track record of shipping quality code at scale with high uptime in a dynamic business environment.
• RESTful API consumer experience.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $87,215.65 - $140,771.73 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Omaha, NE 68102: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
