JOB SUMMARY:
Provide administrative support to Agency. Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project-based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Coordinate and designate intake of patients from referral sources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
2. Knowledge of a variety of computer software programs and telephone protocol.
3. Professional verbal and written communication skills.
4. Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
5. 18 years of age.
6. High School Diploma or GED.
LINE OF AUTHORITY: Reports to the Administrator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Understand and adhere to established Agency policies and procedures.
2. Answer telephones and transfer appropriately. Accept intake/referral/inquiry calls as needed, providing positive company representation.
3. Participates in the coordination of Agency’s services with the services of other community agencies as needed.
4. Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information.
5. Develops a cooperative relationship and communicates effectively and professionally with patients, families, co-workers and referral sources.
6. Meet and greet Patients, employees, applicants and visitors.
7. Create and modify documents using Agency computer system.
8. Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
9. Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
10. Coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, phones, parking, company credit cards and office keys, as applicable.
11. Participate in maintenance and distribution of staff weekly schedules, as required.
12. Support staff in assigned project-based work.
13. Provide office orientation for new employees, as assigned.
14. There may be other or alternate job functions assigned by supervisory personnel.
15. Open and send referral to clinical director; in addition asses for appropriateness.
16. Verify insurances, PCP/MD information, and share the information with administration
17. Staff start of care; when applicable star the LPN and CNA plan
18. Contact patients to verify demographics and HIPPA information
19. Manage and track SOC: delays, orders, scheduling, discharges
20. Monitor and assist in managing the outsourced therapy patients
21. Document and track the patients hospitalized, ROC, and orders
22. Manage authorizations for Denver Health and BlueCross Patients
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Works indoors in Agency.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
