Job Title: Instrument Operations Technician

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire

Location: We're looking for Techs based in/around the Painted Post, NY area to support sites in Corning, NY and Rochester, NY. Company truck provided!

Hours: Monday thorough Friday 7am-3pm (accept on-call duty and paid overtime as required)

Pay: Up to $45hour!

Key responsibilitiesfor this InstrumentOperations Tech role will include:

• Understand and adhere to all company safe work policies.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to execute, document and continuously improve equipment preventative and corrective maintenance strategy.
• Maintain plant spares inventory and raise gaps to management attention
• Follow work instructions and annotate/document activities, process changes etc.
• Calibration, configuration, or replacement of field instrumentation devices.
• Perform and document process and product analyzers calibration checks.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment control circuits/loops, process control equipment.
• Assist Shutdowns, Start-ups and production state changes for plant(s) in the area.
• Perform water treatment tasks
• Follow all Quality Control requirements to ensure a quality product is delivered to customers
• Lead and participate in operations and safety meetings.
• Regional commute to client sites on a daily/weekly basis (in Rochester and Corning, NY by way of company providedtruck)

We're looking for Instrument OperationsTechnicians with the following background profile:

• HS Diploma required, additionalcertification(s) in a technical discipline or recent military training in a technical field highly coveted
• 3 years of relevant experience in a related process plant operations reliability activity.
• Strong computer proficiency
• Valid drivers license with clean record.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude, strong knowledge of all process equipment and function and familiar with codes and standards associated with wiring and conduit.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, 4-20 mA transmitter and electro-pneumatic control loopswith support from central engineering.
• Comprehensive knowledge and ability to troubleshoot pneumatic control systems consisting of I/Ps, solenoid valves, quick exhausts, actuators, regulators and proportional/integral controllers both stand alone and cascaded.
• Comprehensive knowledge and ability to troubleshoot industrial refrigeration skids, machinery vibration monitoring systems and control system architectures including hardware setup and software configuration.
• Ability to interpret electrical and engineering drawings including single line diagrams and PIDs and PFDs.
