Atlantic Community Charter School (ACCS) is committed to instilling a can-do philosophy of self-reliance and high expectations educating students in grades K-8. We are currently looking for a Paraprofessional to assist us with our mission working in a high needs school but in the safe environment of Galloway, NJ.

Under the direction of the school teacher, the Paraprofessional supports the teaching staff by accepting their direction in the classroom. They will also support with bus duties before and after school.

Qualifications Profile

• High School Diploma plus 48 hours of credit at an institute of higher learning, substitute certificate, or has passed the State Para Pro Assessment or college degree.

• Demonstrated proficiency in written, oral and reading communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office for Windows (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Access)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with diverse groups of students and with all levels of school personnel
• Availability to commit to the school year calendar

Experience
Successful prior paraprofessional instructional experience for the appropriate grade levels a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
