Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. - Bachelor’s degree. Must provide a copy of the diploma or college transcript. - Ability to obtain host country driver’s license. - Must be Secret Clearance eligible and/or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance - Undergraduate degree; graduate of a US Army Logistics School, such as University, Army Ordnance School is preferred. - Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination: - To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements. As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment. - Experience: - A minimum of ten (10) years general experience which provides a good basis or general knowledge of the principles of organization, management, and administration. - Five (5) years specialized experience operating managerial activities in a type of work involving a combination of logistical and operational support functions directly related to military garrison logistics management and readiness. Specialized areas of experience include: - logistics support in the areas of supply, maintenance, and transportation; interrelated functions of military/USG financial management and general accounting requirements; an understanding of the military STAMIS systems. This includes the ability to implement future programs relative to the above. - Able to effectively manage unit status and material readiness programs, logistical training, and support, produce succinct and professional military correspondence, and possesses a keen knowledge and understanding of the military chain of command. Work experience in a remote location desirable. - Skills: - Excellent computer skills required as well as interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. - Supervisory Responsibilities: - Manages Subcontract labor as applicable in performance of the SF&ES mission, ensuring they are fully integrated into Program and Customer operational requirements. - Establish managerial oversight for ASG-KU Residential Security CONOP, interfacing with USG, KMOI Officials and the US Embassy staff to mitigate and thwart potential threats to assigned personnel throughout AOR - Will interact and work directly with Senior Program Management Level personnel. - Working Conditions: - Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. - Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well. - Physical Requirements: - Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. - Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. - Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations.
