Tate Ornamental, Inc. is a family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1988. We pride ourselves on being a one-stop shop for design, fabrication, installation, and freight. We specialize in creating distinguished works of art from our fabrication of architectural metal, millwork, and stone. Our projects include stairways, railings, canopies, millwork, casework, stone and quartz. Ornamental metals include steel cold and hot roll, bronze/brass, stainless steel and aluminum.

We are seeking an Install Helper responsible for assisting in the installation of Natural Stone, Quartz, Recycled Surfaces, and Solid Surface countertops in both residential and commercials projects. This position must provide excellent customer service, adhere to proper safety rules and regulations, ensure quality installation, and complete jobs in an efficient but accurate manner. A positive attitude, excellent attendance and punctuality skills are the key to success in this role! On occasion this position is required to travel to job sites located outside of the metropolitan-Nashville area. Travel is infrequent, but required at times.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Assists with stone installation.
• Operates hand tools and specialty stone cutting tools as needed.
• Conforms with state and company safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work well with others on a team
• Strong attention to details
• Skillful multi-tasker

Education and Experience:

• Forklift certification, required.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Construction experience and knowledge of stone, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at times.
• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
• Must be willing to travel to various job sites.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
