Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Experience in providing sales support, processing sales administration and handling customer enquiries.
Experience in making outward sales calls and exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail, adaptable and willing to learn.
The understanding and experience to issue and follow up quotations, tenders, and proposals.
Commercial awareness with good negotiation skills.
A team player keen to play a part in the success of the branch.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft packages, Outlook, Word and Excel.
An understanding of importing or exporting processes and ideally the freight industry.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience within the Freight forwarding industry.
Business to business Sales experience essential.
Telesales experience essential.
Customer service or Operations experience.
Proven success of handling and calculating RFQs and tender submissions.
Experience of negotiating with clients and or suppliers.
Key account management experience with proven success of developing relationships.
Experience of calculating KPI reports.
Experience of face-to-face client and supplier meeting.
Good administrative skills.
Good numerical skills.
Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
