Taylor Lubricants is a second-generation family owned full-line petroleum distributor providing lubricants, chemicals, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), fuel – as well as innovative, cost-saving services – to a wide variety of businesses in the automotive, commercial, industrial, marine, mining and farming sectors in the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, and across the Southeast.

An Inside Sales Rep. will play a fundamental role in building our customer base while meeting revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls and or contacts per day, working with external sales representative team members, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales, while also spreading the line with the existing customer base.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualifying opportunities to appropriate sales team members for further development and closure
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Work with other outside sales team members to build pipeline and close deals
  • Fill orders by transferring orders to operations for processing, communicate expected deliver date and communicate inventory needs to Plant Managers
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective clients using Excel etc.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Set and meet sales goals set by leadership

Requirements:

  • Proven Inside Sales experience
  • 3 to 5 years of Inside Sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quotas
  • Strong phone presence and experience making dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with presentation tools
  • Experience working with Sales Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Closing skills
  • Technical understanding
  • Motivation for sales growth
  • Providing great customer service that represent Company core values
  • Team player
  • BA/BS degree ore equivalent a plus
