What does it mean to be an Inside Sales Representative at Zenith Cutter?

As an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for assisting in developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers of Zenith Cutter, a Fisher Barton Company. In addition, you will also have the critical task of increasing the sales of Zenith Cutter products while working closely to support Key Account Managers, Territory Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to generate sales.

You will do this by:

  • Selling Fisher Barton products to established Tier 2 & 3 customers in a proactive approach
  • Partnering with Territory Sales Managers and Key Account Managers with assigned Tier 1 customers
  • Working with assigned Tier 2 & 3 customers on forecasts/planning and represent sales in the S&OP process • Developing new business to ensure a healthy funnel of business over 3+ year period
  • Achieving goals aligned to sales objectives
  • Proactively communicate any customer opportunities to the Sales Team
  • Developing in depth-market and customer knowledge
  • Identifying and closing additional purchases of products and services by customers
  • Engaging in technical discussions with potential clients via telephone or telemarketing

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a sales or customer service role
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in B2B sales within the manufacturing industry
