Job Description:
Sell goods for wholesalers to businesses or groups of individuals. Work requires substantial knowledge of items sold. Position works directly with Outside Salesperson to supply customer needs via administration and coordination.
Tasks
- Check stock levels
- Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
- Arrange and direct delivery and installation or products and equipment.
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings in order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.
- Obtain credit information about prospective customers.
- Prepare drawings, estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs.
- Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
- Recommend products to customers, based on customers’ need and interests.
- Supports Outside Sales staff and Retail Counter.
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
- All other duties as assigned by supervision.
