Wyman-Gordon Pennsylvania, a division of Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC), is a manufacturing leader of Flash Welded and Cold Rolled near net shaped rings for the Gas Turbine Industry. We are currently seeking a highly motivated person to fill a Sales Account Manager position for the Mountaintop facility located in Northeast Pennsylvania.

Reports To: Sales Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsible for meeting sales financial targets for all Wyman Gordon Pennsylvania products in the territory. Position is responsible for all aspects of business development, sales pipeline management and development & maintenance of Customer relationships. Must effectively coordinate existing and potential business development opportunities with Finance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Meet key sales performance metrics.
• Develop new business opportunities with current & prospective Customers.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the Customer organization.
• Effectively engage/coordinate internal resources to assist in defining opportunities and working with the prospect or Customer decision making teams.
• Coordinate all RFQ's & business agreements between WGPA and Customer.
• Assist in coordinating Customer visits with engineering, manufacturing, sales and facility administration.
• Support the budget planning process by supplying orders forecast and significant market opportunities.
• Comply with all Wyman Gordon Forgings and PCC Corporate policies.
• Other responsibilities as may be assigned.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong sales hunter mentality is essential, the candidate must possess ability to identify, qualify, and close business opportunities for WGPA.
• Well-developed negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills and the ability to deliver formal presentations to senior management levels at customers and in PCC.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to manage in a busy environment.
• Demonstrated success working independently and in a team environment.
• PC proficient, including MS Office.
• Ability to travel as necessary domestically and internationally.
• Solid background and knowledge of served markets.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• BS degree highly preferred, engineering or technical major preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
