Job Title: Innkeeper/Housekeeper

Overview:

We are looking for a charismatic individual with a passion for hospitality to join our team at The Brick Street Inn. The primary focus for this position is housekeeping and assisting at the front desk. This role will require a high level of communication with both hotel guests and team members. This individual should be up for a constantly changing and high paced environment. This person must also have a “can-do” attitude and be willing to help where is needed. The ideal candidate must be willing to work between the hours of 8am-8pm.

Location: Indianapolis Metropolitan Area, The Brick Street Inn, Zionsville, IN

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Cleaning hotel guest rooms

-Cleaning and maintaining the public spaces on property

-Manning the registration “front desk”

- Manage reservations through reservation software system

- Answering phone calls, checking in/out guests, and helping out with operational behind-the-scene needs

-General billing knowledge

Requirements:

-Passionate about the hospitality industry and helping people

-Ability to walk up and down the stairs and lift over 35 pounds

- Previous hotel experience is ideal but not necessary

- Energetic, motivated and dedicated

- Comfortable interacting with guests

- Well organized

-Time management skills
