Gentry Plastics, Inc. is a leader in custom injection molded plastics. We pride ourselves on being able to take on the biggest challenges and deliver for our customer. We are a fast-growing family of 40 teammates looking to add a process technician on first shift with an enthusiastic, proactive attitude.

If you have worked in a manufacturing environment before, you will notice immediately upon visiting our Gastonia location that we do things differently. We care about our employees and have internally promoted nearly all of our positions from the operator level (supervisors, buyer, shipping manager, quality technicians, material handlers, etc.) We work hard, but also take pride in building a bigger, better company every day.

This position requires a high level of technical skill and a “can-do” attitude willing to take on daily challenges. Over 90% of the resin we run is engineering grade & contains fillers such as glass, talc, carbon fiber, etc. The 1st Shift Process Tech will troubleshoot process related defects.

Job Responsibilities:

-Troubleshoot defects by adjusting the injection molding process parameters

- Diagnose issues with auxiliary equipment

Experience

-3 years in injection molding as process tech or similar position

- Knowledge of auxiliary equipment & ability to troubleshoot issues

Pay Frequency:

• Weekly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
