Hybrid Schedule!

The Infusion Revenue Cycle Specialist handles and resolves all benefits verification, prior authorization, co-pay program enrollment, insurance billing, follow-up, and denial issues to ensure the practice receives correct reimbursement from the insurance companies.

Responsibilities – New Patient Enrollment

• Completes Prior Auth (SamaCare, portal, etc.)
• Enrolls patient Co-Pay Program if applicable
• Completes the Northwest Neurology Benefits Investigation form
• Reviews financial responsibilities with patient / financial counseling
• Enters patient information (with auth start and end date) in a spreadsheet
• Enters patient information in the McKesson Lynx system
• Starts the claim for all patients

Responsibilities – Existing Patients

• Proactively monitors auth expiration dates promptly
• Submits for re-authorization when applicable
• Double checks insurance eligibility
• Updates insurance when applicable
• Starts the claim for all patients

Responsibilities – Accounts Receivable

• Actively manages denials promptly
• Submits to co-pay programs promptly
• Actively monitors all accounts >30 days
• Documents all actions performed to resolve the accounts
• Documents date for subsequent follow-up
• Collects patient balances

Qualifications

• Experience submitting an authorization and managing Accounts Receivable
• Demonstrated success in collecting payment (not just reviewing certain number of claims/day)
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Team Player
• Ability to create pivot tables in Excel to successfully manage work
• Experience with eCW preferred; ability to run reports

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
