Information Technology Representative

The Information Technology Representative is responsible providing technical support for local and wide area networks using Microsoft operating systems and a variety of application software.

Job Duties

• Maintain adequate knowledge of existing hardware and software in use to maximize efficiency of the network and users’ utilization of them.
• Assists in providing computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users.
• Handle (internal) customer support calls and provide first level support.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of customer and corporate information.
• Provide written documents that evaluate network performance on periodic intervals.

Skills and Experience

• Understanding of network technologies
• Proficient communication – in person, over the phone, and via email
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills
• Associate Degree in IT or related field (preferred)
