Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with a Secret clearance.

This position is for an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at the RIS El Segundo, CA, facility. The ISSO must be familiar with (but not limited to): Risk Management Framework (RMF), National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) and related documentation such as, Baseline Technical Security Configuration Standards, DAAPM and other Cybersecurity regulations. The ISSO interfaces with other cybersecurity team members, other security disciplines (industrial security, physical security, etc.), program personnel and government security representatives when conducting self-inspections/assessments.

Requirements of the Information System Security Auditor:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Must possess or be willing to obtain a DoD 8570 certification IAT Level II certification within 6 months (IAM Level II preferred).
• Theoretical knowledge of a comprehensive cybersecurity program to include risk management, system security plans (SSP)s and associated artifacts (e.g., POAMs, HW/SW baselines, etc.) and identifying secure system configurations (e.g., Win10, Server2016, RHEL7, etc.).
• Knowledge of national security information system related security requirements (e.g., JSIG, ICD 503, RMF, DAAPM or NISPOM).
• Understanding a continuous monitoring/improvement program (to include but not limited to self-inspections, security control assessments, training, log management systems, automated inventory utilities, etc.).
• Understanding and supporting Cybersecurity policy, processes and procedures.
• Effective writing, speaking, analytical, and customer service skills.

The salary range for this role is 57,000 USD - 107,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
