Brand New Daycare Center just opened this fall! Looking for energetic, creative, fun, loving and nurturing individuals who love working with children.
Duties
Teacher must manage the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.
- implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Lead by example through modeling and coaching.
- Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
- Maintain daily communications with parents through our Center app and in person during drop off and pick up
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Maintain accurate records, forms and files in the classroom
- Willingness with outside providers (B23, etc.) on how to best support children in their development stages
Requirements
- Must be able to see and or hear a child in distress up to 25 feet away.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs repeatedly during the course of each day.
- Must be able to sit on the floor with children and be able to get up quickly.
- Must have CPR, First aid and medication administration training or willing to obtain
