Elite Learning Academy Inc. is looking for a maternal, responsible, dedicated, resourceful, and dependable head teacher with a professional approach to work in our Infant Classroom.

Minimum requirements:

  • Provide proof of completion or partial of 45 hours of Child Care Education through Department of Children and Families (DCF) certificates and/or transcript or an Associate’s degree in education or a CDA or any degree with 9 credits in Education (PREFERRED).

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute interactive/hands-on lesson plans & sensory activities for 1-year-olds
  • Execute activities and projects based on the respective lesson plan
  • Manage classroom schedule
  • Create a happy, positive and fun environment for children and teachers
  • Supervise children closely throughout the day
  • Serve food to children during lunch and snack time in a sanitary and orderly manner.
  • Communicate with parents on the daily activities, progress and milestones of each child when asked and when interacting with parents
  • Attend staff meetings when necessary

Experience: Child Care Education/Training and/or Child Care Work Experience (3 months minimum preferred)
