In search of
Infant Assistant Teacher who has a passion for working with infants and their families in a caring, educational setting that is rooted in the mission of the YMCA, a non-profit, charity organization.
Hours/Shift:
Monday through Friday 630am-1230pm and/or 12-6pm
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Completed high school or GED program
- Ability to pass a background check and physical
Who Are We Looking For?
Individuals who will...
- Serve as a caring adult presence for children ages six weeks to twelve months by inspiring learning that promotes a child's physical, social and cognitive development.
- Works cooperatively with Lead Teacher in implementing and developing daily lessons and activities that meets the needs of the group.
- Build relationships with parents and other adults in order to foster a supportive environment for each child.
- Be a part of an amazing team of staff focused on supporting children as they grow and learn.
- Execute State Licensing and Step Up to Quality requirements in order to provide a quality care environment.
Starting Pay:
$11.00/hour
